The Good and The Bad

Things always comes in 2's, right? Good news tend to come with bad news, at least that's been true in my life. And now, I have both to share with you...

The Good: I'M MOVING TO NYC!!! Yes, June 1 I will be moving to the big city, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm going in June specifically to look for a job, and I have a couple of exciting leads. This opportunity came about at the perfect time, and I am so eternally grateful to the universe for presenting it to me. It's crazy, it's risky, it's unlike anything I've ever done before. I cannot wait.

The Bad: I just learned that my uncle's colon cancer has spread to his liver and lungs. I am beyond devastated and hardly know what to do with the information. At this point, I think the only thing I can do is pray pray pray and hope for the best. I ask that you do the same. This is a heartbreaking time for me and my family, and I... well, I just want to stay as positive as possible. Thanks for being there.

Hey Carolyn, I'm super psyched about your move to NYC, it's going to be GREAT! On a more solemn note, I am so deeply sorry about the news with your uncle. My father passed from skin cancer almost 5 years ago... it ain't easy. Whatever you need, we'll all be here for you. Thinking positive thoughts for him & your family as we speak!

1. I am sending healing thoughts and saying tons of prayers for your uncle and your family.

2. OMG, I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR YOU THAT I HAD TO TYPE THIS OUT IN ALL CAPS. The little tomato is moving to the big NYC. What could be more perfect? Except for now I have to start looking for plane tickets to NYC instead of Austin, which of course, is not a problem :)

I think it's absolutely wonderful news that you are taking this brave and exciting oportunity to re-design your life, geographically. Well, it's a lot more than that, considering how different NYC is to Austin...both great spots, but very different. So happy for you.

You absolutely have my prayers and good energy for your uncle. It sounds like he is a very special person to you, and there is all kinds of possitive and wonderful light surrounding that relationship? Take all that goodness and blow it all over his current situation. Whatever the outcome, just wrap your sweet heart all around it! xo, SA
