Another fabulous guest blogger, dear readers. Check out Nina's beautiful, sweet blog here. And if you haven't already, please congratulate her as she is recently engaged!
Confession: One of my all-time favorite movies is You've Got Mail. Not only because I met my own love online (yes, that's right!) but also because of that little scene when Meg Ryan is walking to work (a bookstore) in Manhattan on a perfect fall day. I just adore the fall, and I always want to jump up and down when that first perfect autumn morning arrives. And who doesn't love the idea of "bouquets of sharpened pencils." Ahhh, I need to go turn on my DVD player...
So, now I'm curious, what's your favorite fall movie?

My favorite fall movie is "When Harry met Sally" the scene when they are walking through Central Park in the fall is wonderful..you can feel & smell the crispiness in the air. PS Congratulations on your engagement!!!
You've Got Mail is my favorite too!! I absolutely love it. :)
That's a great fall movie!! Might have to watch it tonight :)
ah, it's been too long since i've seen you've got mail. it is such a great movie. when i watched it for the first time i found it ironic. when i lived in virginia beach i worked in a bookstore and a huge bookstore came in just down the block from ours. it did eventually put us out of business but i moved away before that happened. yes, i must watch this again soon. thanks for reminding me :)
That is my fave comfort movie. It travels with me everywhere. I have a soft spot for that movie as I worked in a bookstore and it was my fave job ever, I love NYC and fall. I met alot of my great friends online also - so it's dear to me in that respect too. Thanks for the reminder, I need to watch it tonight! And I thought I was the only one who felt this way about You've Got Mail.
“I turn on my computer. I wait patiently as it connects. I go online. My breath catches in my chest until I hear 3 little words, "You've got mail." I hear nothing, not a sound on the streets of New York. Just the beat of my own heart. I have mail...from you.”
You've Got Mail is one of my favs. The best is Funny Farm with Chevy Chase. It is so funny and the scenery of Vermont is just great - the movie goes right into the Christmas season.
The house is great to look at in the movie too.
:)
Ohhhhh you are a very very good ambassadors för the blog-sphere.... I love your blog!
